Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the sale of products offered on the website www.rootnpeak.com. By placing an order, the customer unreservedly accepts these T&Cs.

2. Products

Root & Peak offers a selection of fine foods from around the world, sourced from artisanal producers. The essential characteristics of each product are described on its dedicated product page. Product photos are for illustrative purposes only.

3. Customer Account

All orders require the creation of a customer account. The information provided must be accurate and up to date.

4. Orders & Contract Formation

The sales contract is concluded upon confirmation of payment. Root & Peak reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of suspected fraud or clear error.

5. Prices & Payment Methods

Prices are displayed in CHF or EUR depending on the customer's location.
Payments are processed securely online via credit card or PayPal through Stripe.

6. Delivery

Delivery areas: Switzerland and European Union.

Delivery times:

• 5 to 7 business days for products shipped from Switzerland;
• 2 to 3 weeks for certain products shipped from their country of origin.

Shipping fees: decreasing according to the total order amount. Details are shown at checkout.

Orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer. Root & Peak is not responsible for incorrect addresses.

7. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with consumer protection laws, customers have 30 days to withdraw from their purchase without justification.
Refunds are guaranteed in the event of non-conformity or dissatisfaction.
Returned products must be in their original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

8. Responsibilities

Root & Peak is not responsible for delivery delays caused by carriers or for any damage occurring after shipment. If a product is defective, an exchange or refund will be offered.

9. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in compliance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
Data is used only for commercial purposes (Stripe payments, shipping, transactional emails) or for marketing purposes if the customer has given consent.

10. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed by Swiss law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in the customer's country of residence for sales within the European Union.
In case of dispute, the competent courts will be those of the Canton of Vaud (Switzerland), unless otherwise stipulated by applicable consumer protection law.
